Data used by the calculators
The site has no accounts, public comments, checkout or mailing list. Birth date, birth time and birthplace are used by calculations in your browser. The current application does not submit these form values to our server. It downloads general calculation tables and city data instead. Do not enter someone else's private information without their permission.
The Matrix of Destiny can include a birth date in the part of the address after #. This fragment is not included in ordinary HTTP requests to the server, but it can remain in browser history and be revealed if you copy or share the full address. Remove the fragment before sharing a link containing a private date. Other scripts, if added later, could read fragments; advertising and analytics are currently disabled.
City and device location
The browser's time zone helps choose a starting city. If you request automatic location detection, your browser asks permission. Coordinates are used on your device to choose a nearby supported city. The application does not send the raw coordinates to our server. Requests for a city's calculation file do reveal which city file was downloaded. Browser or operating-system location services are governed by their own settings and notices.
Cookies and storage
The current application does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not load those services. It uses local browser storage for the selected city, zodiac sign and calendar activity. Fonts and application assets are served from the site. Hosting-level cookies, if any, must be verified when a host is selected. See Cookies and browser storage for details.
Website delivery and security
La Lune is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare also provides its DNS, content delivery, HTTPS and network security. Delivering the website involves technical request data such as IP address, requested URL, time and browser details. Cloudflare's network operates internationally, so this data may be processed in several countries. Cloudflare publishes information about its own data handling in its [privacy policy](https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/). Cloudflare Web Analytics is not enabled.
We do not add advertising or analytics without first updating this notice.
Messages to the operator
If you email us, our email providers and the person answering receive your address and the contents of your message. We use them to respond and deal with the issue raised, and keep them only as long as that requires. Please do not send identification documents or sensitive information unless specifically necessary.
Purposes and legal grounds
We use information to provide the calculations you request, remember your selected preferences, deliver and secure the website, and respond to enquiries. Depending on the law that applies to you, the basis is our legitimate interest in running a working, secure site or your request for the service. Browsing is not treated as blanket consent.
Advertising
La Lune has no advertising or analytics integrations.
If advertising is ever added, we will first identify the providers and the data they receive, publish their purposes and retention details, and implement the required privacy choices. Where consent is required, optional advertising technologies will not load before a choice. Refusing them will not prevent access to the free calculators. Birth dates, birth times, precise coordinates, private URL fragments and calculator results will not be passed to advertising providers.
International processing
La Lune serves an international audience. Cloudflare provides hosting and website delivery through its international network, so request data may be processed outside your country.
Your choices and rights
You can decline browser geolocation, clear site storage and remove private URL fragments. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of information, object to processing, withdraw consent where it is used, and complain to the competent data-protection authority. EEA visitors may complain to an authority in their habitual residence, workplace or the place of an alleged infringement where the GDPR applies. UK visitors may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office where UK data-protection law applies. Some rights have conditions or exceptions. To make a request, write to [email protected].
Calculators provide symbolic interpretations, not decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. We do not use their results to decide eligibility, credit, employment or insurance.
Children and changes
The service is intended for people aged 16 and over and is not designed for children. We update this notice before changing providers or how information is used.
United States privacy choices
La Lune does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that ever changes, we will first provide the notices and opt-out controls that state privacy laws require.
