Cookies and browser storage

Updated October 30, 2026.

Browser storage

Local storage is different from a cookie, but privacy rules can cover both. These keys are used to remember choices:

• la-lune.city: selected city identifier, name and time zone.
• la-lune.sign: selected zodiac sign.
• la-lune.task: selected calendar activity.

The active preference keys have no automatic expiry. They remain until replaced or cleared in the browser. Clear this site's data in browser settings to remove them. The app does not upload those storage records as a profile. Page requests and city-data downloads still reach the host.

Birth information and history

Birth date and time are not written to those preference keys. A matrix date can appear after # in the page address and remain in history. Clear the fragment or relevant history entries if needed; do not share a link containing a private date.

Advertising, analytics and hosting

La Lune has no advertising or analytics, and does not set cookies of its own, so no consent banner is shown. If that changes, optional technologies will wait for your choice and you will be able to refuse them as easily as accept them.

Cloudflare delivers this site and may use strictly necessary security cookies.
