Leopardsymbol of lunar day 3
Lunar day 3 is traditionally associated with action and initiative. Its symbolism encourages directing energy into something useful, standing up for your needs and making progress on work already begun. Treat it as a prompt to act deliberately, not a promise of extra energy.
Traditional focus: appropriate exercise, active tasks, practical work and asserting your needs.
Take care with: pointless arguments, indecision and waiting without a plan.

What is a lunar day?
A lunar day, as used in this calendar, is a traditional period counted from one local moonrise to the next. Lunar day 1 begins at the exact new moon and ends at the next moonrise, so it can last only a few hours. There are 29 or 30 lunar days in a lunar month.
Moonrise depends on location. This means the lunar day can change at different times in different cities. Choose your city on the home page to see its local timings.
Each day has a traditional symbol and interpretation. These are astrological ideas for reflection, not predictions. This numbering is not the same as the Moon’s age in days, a civil calendar date or the Hindu tithi system.
