Is today’s Moon sign the same as my Moon sign?
Usually, “your Moon sign” means the Moon’s zodiac sign at your birth. “Moon sign now” means its current zodiac position. Your birth Moon sign stays the same, while the moving Moon passes through a sign roughly every two to three days.
Which one does the home page show?
The Moon sign on La Lune’s home page is the current tropical zodiac sign. It is not a personal result. The next date and time show when the Moon enters another sign, expressed in your selected city’s time zone.
How do I find my birth Moon sign?
Use the Big Three calculator with your birth date, birth time and birthplace. If the Moon changed signs on that date and you do not know the time, we show possible signs rather than choosing one arbitrarily.
Does my birth Moon sign change when I move?
No. Moving does not change where the Moon was when you were born. Your birthplace helps convert the recorded local birth time correctly. The current Moon sign also does not become a different tropical sign just because today’s local date differs.
Why might another calculator give a different result?
Check whether both tools use the tropical zodiac, the same birth time and the correct historical time zone. A sidereal calculation uses a different reference and can give a different sign. Near a sign boundary, even a small time difference matters.
